What to Expect

Welcome to Bellevue Heights Church in beautiful Sun City, Arizona! We have all visited churches for the first time, so here are some answers to common questions. Sun City is a 55+ community, and Bellevue Heights reflects that.

What is your weekend schedule?

Our weekend worship gatherings begin with our contemporary worship in the Worship Center at 5PM on Saturdays. We have two identical classic Sunday morning worship services, at 9AM and 10:30AM in the Worship Center. After the first worship gathering, guests are invited to enjoy doughnuts and coffee across the commons in Franklin Hall.

What do I wear?

You’ll see people in everything from shorts to suits at our weekend services. Our concern isn’t what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside. Jesus sees our heart, and we are here to meet with Him!

Where do I park?

We have a large parking lot, recently restriped and ready for you! THere is plenty of parking available for those needing assistance. One of our golf cart ambassadors may pick you up at the car, or you can make your way to the center of the campus. A large sign indicates building locations, and each building is well marked.

What kind of music is there?

Music is a key part of our worship gatherings. Our Sunday morning services reflect a classic, traditional style of music, from the sacred hymns to modern worship as well. You will enjoy the BHC Singers (a 50+ member choir), along with piano and organ as the congregation joins them in singing a blend of great hymns of the faith and praise and worship music. The BHC Hand Bell Choir also blesses us occasionally with their music.

Saturday evening contemporary worship at 5PM features contemporary worship songs of the day, utilizing a band of church members on guitar, bass guitar, drums, keys.
