What to Expect

Welcome to Bellevue Heights Church, in beautiful Sun City, Arizona! We have all visited churches for the first time, so here are some answers to common questions. If we’ve missed something, let us know! You’re probably not the only one with that question, so asking us will help us help you and future guests. Sun City is a 55+ community, and Bellevue Heights reflects that.

What is your weekend schedule?

Our weekend worship gatherings begin with our contemporary worship in the Worship Center at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in the Worship Center. After the first worship gathering, guests are invited to conversation across the commons in Franklin Hall.

What do I wear?

You’ll see people in everything from shorts to suits at our weekend services. Our concern isn’t what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside. Jesus sees our heart, and we are here to meet with Him!

Where do I park?

Our lot sweeps around the campus. Lots of parking is available for those needing assistance. One of our golf cart ambassadors may pick you up at the car, or you can make your way to the center of the campus. A large sign indicates building locations, and each building is well marked.

What kind of music is there?

Music is a key part of our worship gatherings. In Sunday morning traditional worship at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., you will enjoy the BHC Singers (a 40+ member choir), along with piano and organ as the congregation joins them in singing a blend of great hymns of the faith and praise and worship music. The BHC Hand Bell Choir also blesses us occasionally with their music.

Saturday evening contemporary worship at 5:00 is blessed by our band including guitar, bass guitar, drums, keys and vocalists under the leadership of an inspired worship leader.
